Jaxjin is a new gin brand crafted in an old hayshed on a farm in Somersby NSW. Made by a husband and wife sharing a passion for gin, they use locally sourced ingredients from their farm to create a fresh mixture of flavourful delight. A new family business made with the intention to pass on to their son Jack.
As a start-up company the product is intended to be sold exclusively online on boutique gin sites. Brand awareness is to be achieved through gin festivals, local stores and subscription gin clubs. After attaining audience recognition, the product aims to be sold in physical stores and be produced in a variety of flavours.
As the gin is exclusively sold online the label is the first point of contact with the customer, an opportunity to create not just a visually engaging design but a tactile one. The label is made with a satin paper finish, using white and gold embellishments to heighten the sensory appeal. The company logo on top of the bottle is inspired from classic farm stamps, the name Lot 01 the original name of the family farm.
